#OOTD: Simple & Easy Holiday Look

Hello and welcome back!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, full of love, laughter and food! It's still the "holidays", and I decided to dig into my closet and pull out a staple piece in my wardrobe, the simple yet dressy cotton red skirt. This simple yet stylish skirt is only $5.90 at Forever 21! I went ahead and paired it with a criss cross top from Boohoo and my "bff's" this holiday season, my black thigh-high boots from Nine West. As you can see from my previous posts, I am really into skirts and boots this season for the fact that I feel it resembles "fall fashion". I honestly just pulled random pieces out of my closet to create this simple look. I hope you all enjoy this effortless yet stylish look and as always, let me know what you think!

Xoxo,
Michelle

HIT or MISS: Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme's (two shades)

Hellooooo!

Today I will be discussing the new (well new for me) Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme's. The new trend seems to be "liquid lipstick this, liquid lipstick that", so I thought "why not give these a try?". I was recently introduced to these by my dear blogger friend Sunflowerviews, she had the shade Adorable on and I immediately fell in love with it. Now, these are not that easy to find I had to hunt a bit for them until I came across them at my local CVS Pharmacy. I would say your best bet would be to order these online directly from the Milani website.

The two shades I purchased were: Adorable & Striking
(striking for some reason cannot be found on their website, perhaps it has been discontinued, although these pictures are from the website...strange.)

Outfit of the Night: Faux Leather

Hey Guys!

I have been extremely ghost on my blog due to finals week, but now I am back! I have been having the constant battle between wanting to shoot new looks yet having to study and go to work. It is safe to say that working full time and attending school full time is completely doable, I got straight A's! I am feeling very thankful this holiday season because not only did I achieve academic success this semester but I will be starting the year with a fresh new employment opportunity (still in the legal field) and a higher pay increase. Hard work truly does pay off!

Anyway, enough of my boring life, lets get into this look! I decided to pair off my new taupe faux leather skirt (which was on sale for $12!!) with a simple black half turtle neck top. I also decided to add on some thigh high black patten boots. I think that this is a very fun yet fall-ish look, for Miami at least. I am also thinking of pairing this skirt with tops colored olive or white, that should be interesting!
