Miami Tropical Vibes | DREAMER X SEPHORA POP UP EVENT

Hello, hello!

Long time no talk! It's summer time in Miami and that calls for TROPICAL AF outfits! Lately I have been in the mood for colorful and very loud outfits. That means that I am all in for prints, neons and maybe both combined? Haha! After all... it is Miami and if any city knows about loud colors in clothes it is Miami! Spending money on tropical-ish outfits here is cool because it is something you can technically wear all year long (uh yes, all year. I have seen people go to the beach on Christmas Day!)

Please keep in mind that I will always try to list the exact same look but in the event that the store no longer offers the look I will give you guys other alternatives!

But wait, you still cant find that you need? Message/email/write to me on my instagram and I will help you style the look to accommodate your needs!

One of Many Ways to Wear Denim! | #DIY

Hi Guys!

I know for a fact you will be seeing me in a lot of denim this spring and summer! Feel free to ignore me all spring and summer if you aren’t a denim fan lol.  I thought I’d share with you guys a little DIY-ish thing I did with this look. Let’s just say I work well under pressure and I don’t know what it’s like to ever be fully prepared whether it’s hours or days or months ahead! Now, not to say that is is necessarily a bad thing. Typically when I shoot on weekends, I pick my look in less than one hour. Here is why: I don't know if I will wake up bloated and the cute little outfit I had planned will no longer work! I rather feel things as they come and go with the flow! Anyone else? Let me further explain...

See, I am just one of those people who can go up on stage and just start talking or improvise for things on the spot. Funny story: my friend Cari bought me the cutest planner from VALFRE for Christmas and I have yet to use it. It is by far the coolest planner ever and she always gives me crap for not using it how I should. I am not one to write down every single thing, partly because I am pretty sure I am developing carpel tunnel (or something of that realm). I am good with memorizing which I know I shouldn’t really rely on. Ok, I feel like I got a little sidetracked… sorry! Maybe I should be filming videos instead of writing lol. Writing just makes me feel really relaxed. Keep reading for the look!

LIFE IS JUST AN EXPLOSION OF COLORS, BE BOLD, BABY!

Living in Miami I have seen my fair share of trends. As a blogger I feel that it is my duty to go out there, research, and bring you back newfound info! Now, I am not saying that my look is something that hasn’t been done before but what I am trying to say is that I went out there and put together a look that you guys have yet to see me in. This summer I am looking to play more with bold colors and patterns. I’m trying to step out of the box a whole lot more.

Wood Accessories? Yup! They're a thing! | Summer Must Have!

Hi Guys!

Looks like we are back to sunny skies and 80 degree weather in Miami. For the last couple of weeks we've been having cold fronts one day and hot weather the next, oddest thing! Anyway, warm weather means cute spring/summer looks! I wanted to share with you all the newest accessory to hit my wardrobe.

Now, before we get to this look, I wanted to thank JORD for sending me my new beauty. Please keep in mind that all opinions are my own and I would not stand with a brand I did not personally like or believe in. Now, back to my look! I went ahead and selected something different than what I normally own or wear around my wrist. I like to wear a lot of gold small watches just because they are very classy looking and don't over power my small wrist. When I saw that JORD carried that similar style I automatically knew I had to have it! Please keep reading, there's a fun little giveaway at the end of this post!

VERSACE INSPIRED LOOK-ISH | ON A BUDGET

Hellur!

For many of you who don't keep up with my instagram account, it is where I share mostly... everything! From everyday to not everyday things. Which is why I like to have all my accounts linked into my blog (you can access my twitter and instagram feed to right column of my blog!) I am probably 1000% sure that I am boring ya'll with palazzo pants but... I just cannot let go. I feel that they are rocked best to it's fullest extent during summer and well.. it's summer weather in Miami already! Now, for someone who loves expensive things but also shops on a budget, I think that this look is a perfect example to that. I got this look for under $115.00!!!! Like, I mean... seriously the whole look. Including my purse! Which is vegan leather.. HELLO!

PALAZZO PANTS ARE MY BEST FRIENDS

Hi Guys!

So happy to see you all here! If you are here then you must like the constant rambling in my posts (actually lol'ing right now).  I promise I try to keep it at a medium with you all but truthfully speaking, I will only blog (and ramble) about something I believe in or love and these pants, I LOVE. I stumbled upon these little babies at Forever 21 for less than $25.00!

Cafecito Time! | #OOTD

COFFEE TIME! Or shall I say, CAFECITO TIME! Being a little hispanic girl, raised in (obviously) an all hispanic household, coffee was a huge part of the things I smelled every morning. Apart from the typical huevo fritos (fried eggs) con una tostada (toast)! When I was a little girl, I didn't really appreciate the coffee scent, to me it meant that I was up too early and I probably did not like it! Now, as an adult, I CANNOT live without my coffee, every single morning. Sometimes, if i'm being bad i'll have a cup in the afternoon or night time. Heck! I'm having iced coffee right now and it is currently 9:30 p.m. in Miami, Florida.

5 Wardrobe Essentials Every Gal Should Own

If you are like me, you always have that go-to outfit. That go-to same old outfit your friends and family are tired of seeing you in. "Hey aren't you a fashion blogger now? Where are the fancy outfits?!"That's pretty much how my life goes! Well I am here to tell you, that I love comfort as much as I love dressing to the nines. It simply depends on my mood that day. "Am I bloated because I ate too much the night before?" It honestly always comes down to that, like 90% of the time. In this post I will also show you how I wear 3 of my wardrobe go-to's (leggings, oversized jackets, and a t-shirt). Keep reading to see what my top 5 wardrobe essentials are, whether I am wearing them all together or simply using them as key pieces for a certain outfit that day.

How I Manage My Blog While Working and Going to School Full-Time

Photos by: RichTheShooter
If you really want something you will do anything in your power to make it happen, or at least try. Which brings me to the key to all of this, time management. Time management is everything to me. It has such a big impact in your life, whether you are a blogger or not. At this moment I work full-time, just last week graduated college (I was studying full-time) and managing my blog part-time. My days are long and it is very easy to want to get home and go straight to bed. However, do not fall into any temptation that will prevent you from achieving your goals. It's so easy to say "Maybe, tomorrow!" or "I'm tired!" I guess that what I am trying to say is that my plate was really full but complaining is the last thing I would ever want to do. Please keep reading to learn about all my tips, trials and errors of trying to juggle this life. Hey, we all have the same 24 hours as Beyoncé, so get to it!

T-SHIRT DRESS | STYLING HACK FOR THE SHORT GAL

As a member of the "shorties club" and standing at a whopping 5'0, dresses are always a bit of an issue. They are always longer than I would want. Dresses (especially sundresses) result in major hemming! For this simple and casual ootd, I decided to pair a t-shirt dress with denim.. oh yeah and silver booties!

STYLING CAMO + 6 THINGS MY 20's HAVE TAUGHT ME

The beauty of Camo is that you can either dress it down or dress it up, wear it as a bottom, top and in my case as outerwear. For this look I decided to dress my Camo Jacket down with a basic black dress, nude toned sneakers and my fave black tote. This look was all put together in a matter of 10 minutes! It was a no brainer and comfort was the goal. My boyfriend and I decided to take a walk around Coconut Grove and see the damage Hurricane Irma had left and all I kept thinking about was "alright girl, dress comfortably.. this is going to be a hot and long outing!"

I have created a pinterest board titled "Styling Camo", and have put together a variety of looks for you all! I actually got my inspo from pinterest, it is such a great tool...WHY NOT? Be sure to check out the board, Fall is here and Camo is soooooo in.

WEARING DENIM WITH DENIM? | CASUAL OOTD's

I am not really a "wear jeans" kind of girl, with this Miami heat it is so hard to want to stay in them for long periods of time, especially during summer time! However, I do find that denim is something you should have in your closet, a staple piece if I must say! Today we have denim tops, bottoms, shoes, chokers you name it they have it! After all, Britney Spears was that trooper who wore an ALL DENIM wardrobe for the MTV Movie Awards! You've gots to love some Britney.

Sunday-Funday OOTD | Hint of PINK

Miami Summer is definitely amongst us and seeking comfort is something I strive for. On this day it was actually the hottest day of the year thus far, 98 degrees!!! I decided to pair this loose off shoulder top with these denim shorts. To add to the mixture of things I decided to add a vibrant pink twist to it! Quite frankly, you can wear any color with such a neutral outfit, I just decided to bring out my pink, cute, but oh so painful flats and roomy clutch purse! I love having pieces in my closet that are simple yet able to be coordinated with each other. I am a true believer in mixing and matching things that I already have. Very rarely you will see me buying an outfit that can only be worn with their only corresponding piece!

My go-to outfit: Maxi Dresses & Denim!

Hi babes!

Lately I have been loving maxi dresses to run my Saturday morning errands! Errands... lol. Let me just say that when you work mon-fri, you don't really get time to run your errands and when you do... weekends aren't really the time and place. Any who, I have been using and abusing this little maxi dress I got for... wait for it... $4.99!!!!! I think that I love the price so much that I feel like I need to show it crazy crazy love! I picked up this little number at my favorite new (to me at least), little store called Discovery. They have such great prices and boutique styles!

Keep reading for the deets, and where to find similar items for less!
*Errands: aka shopping spending money i shouldn't, I'm a shopaholic.

#OOTD: Simple & Easy Holiday Look

Hello and welcome back!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, full of love, laughter and food! It's still the "holidays", and I decided to dig into my closet and pull out a staple piece in my wardrobe, the simple yet dressy cotton red skirt. This simple yet stylish skirt is only $5.90 at Forever 21! I went ahead and paired it with a criss cross top from Boohoo and my "bff's" this holiday season, my black thigh-high boots from Nine West. As you can see from my previous posts, I am really into skirts and boots this season for the fact that I feel it resembles "fall fashion". I honestly just pulled random pieces out of my closet to create this simple look. I hope you all enjoy this effortless yet stylish look and as always, let me know what you think!

Xoxo,
Michelle

Outfit of the Night: Faux Leather

Hey Guys!

I have been extremely ghost on my blog due to finals week, but now I am back! I have been having the constant battle between wanting to shoot new looks yet having to study and go to work. It is safe to say that working full time and attending school full time is completely doable, I got straight A's! I am feeling very thankful this holiday season because not only did I achieve academic success this semester but I will be starting the year with a fresh new employment opportunity (still in the legal field) and a higher pay increase. Hard work truly does pay off!

Anyway, enough of my boring life, lets get into this look! I decided to pair off my new taupe faux leather skirt (which was on sale for $12!!) with a simple black half turtle neck top. I also decided to add on some thigh high black patten boots. I think that this is a very fun yet fall-ish look, for Miami at least. I am also thinking of pairing this skirt with tops colored olive or white, that should be interesting!

Walking Contradiction... #MiamiStyle

Hi Guys!

I have actually sat in front of my computer for about 2 hours trying to see what it is I could write to you all pertaining to this look...

Before I do that, I want to let everyone know that anything is possible through confidence and self love. Since I pursued one of my long time dreams of starting my own blog a couple weeks ago, I have gone through a rollercoaster of emotions. Should I have even done it? What if people don't care about what little ol' me has to say? and the doubts continued. You see, all these things are little doubts that creep up on you and steer you the wrong way. Why not do what makes you happy? After all, you have one life to live, and it is your duty to live it well! So, go after what you want, who cares what people think, as long as you are not hurting others or yourself... stand tall and strive for greatness! I hope everyone has a great Monday. It is a fresh week, go out there and make things happen!

NOW, back to business. I have come together with this last minute out on the town-going for a taco run-it is kind of cold but kind of hot-look! Does that even make sense? Probably not. As you can see in this look, I am obsessed with my clear Maria heels from WANTMYLOOK. By the way guys, you can opt to wear this with your favorite pointy black or nude flats, and even some cute booties! I just decided to be a little extra and wear my fave heels! I felt like this outfit said "It's fall somewhere in the world, not MIAMI!"

FALL into this look

Happy Monday!

This is the beginning of a fresh week and a short work week for me, go make things happen! This weekend in Miami we experienced a tad bit of cooler weather, FINALLY. Some say Miami natives don't know how to act when the degrees drop a bit and they start whipping out the snow gears! I decided to bring my leather jacket out of hiding, and the results were the following:
